Yellow chrysoberyl is a natural gemstone composed of beryllium aluminium oxide (BeAl2O4). Its luminous yellow colour, sometimes golden, is highly prized in fine jewellery. This stone is distinguished by its high brilliance, its transparency and its hardness of 8.5 on the Mohs scale, offering excellent resistance to wear and scratching.
