Gemsflower was born out of a deep passion for precious stones, a passion that has been honed through travels around the world. These explorations led to the discovery of rare gems and a deeper understanding of this fascinating field. It was against this backdrop that the company was founded in Geneva, Switzerland, the perfect place to combine expertise and innovation in the field of gemmology.
Gemsflower, a story of passion and encounters
The name Gemsflower is a subtle contraction of two symbolic elements: 'Gems' for our sector of activity, and 'Flower', which refers to the first name of our founder, Romdoul.
This choice evokes both the beauty of the stones and the delicacy with which we treat them. Each gem, like a rare flower, deserves special attention and meticulous analysis.
Romdoul
Romdoul is Co-Director and a qualified Gemmologist of Gem-A (The Gemmological Association of Great Britain), one of the most prestigious institutions in the field. As an active member of the Gem-A Association (FGA), she has devoted her career to the study of gems throughout the world.
Close to the deposits, it has had access to the heart of many mines in Tanzania, Germany and Cambodia. Regularly present at international trade fairs, she has an in-depth knowledge of the market and price trends. Thanks to her network, she also takes part in numerous gemmological conferences across Europe and Asia.
Ismail
Ismail, Chairman and Administrative Manager, has a federal diploma in SME management. His ability to combine management and organisation with a touch of creativity is essential to the successful development of Gemsflower. Thanks to his administrative and strategic expertise, the company benefits from a solid, well-organised structure.
